The festive season will see three new malls open in Jaipur, Patna and Greater Noida, each offering a mix of retail, dining and leisure
India’s mall landscape is entering another busy phase, with developers looking beyond conventional shopping spaces to create destinations that bring retail, dining, entertainment and leisure under one roof.
From large-format shopping centres in emerging urban markets to mixed-use developments that combine retail with offices and recreational spaces, the focus is increasingly on giving consumers more reasons to step out and stay longer.
Three developments to watch this October are Pacific Mall in Jaipur, Bailey Square in Patna and Grandthum in Greater Noida, each bringing a different mix of retail, dining and leisure to its respective market.
The timing is particularly noteworthy as the festive season gathers pace. With consumers gearing up for purchases, new malls could tap into the seasonal surge in footfall. The festive rush also gives retailers a chance to introduce their brands to local shoppers, while dining and leisure attractions add to the malls’ appeal as social destinations.
Here is a closer look at the three upcoming centres and what they have in store for shoppers…
